Motor show returning better than ever

ONE of the most diverse displays of historic vehicles in Victoria will again be showcased at the fourth bi–annual Wangaratta Historic Motor Show and Fly In on Sunday, April 23 next year.

Mark the date in your diary as it's bound to be bigger than ever with multiple clubs and visitors descending on Wangaratta Airport.

When the event was last staged in April 2021, the cap of 5000 people (due to COVID) was reached with people coming from all over Australia.

Event organiser Richie Gardner said they're expecting this figure to be well exceeded at the 2023 event.

Organisations supporting the event include Historic Commercial Vehicle Club Australia, Warby Engine Club, Lions Club of Wangaratta, Early Holden Car Club Wangaratta Inc, Veteran, Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club of Wangaratta, Harry Ferguson Tractor Club of Australia, Precision Airmotive and Classic Car Club, and Rural City of Wangaratta.

There will be stationary engines and working display, and exhibitor function with guest speaker on the Saturday night, food and drink stalls, exhibitor camping and kids' entertainment (Sunday only).
