WITH Mother Nature bringing down the rain over the past week, athletes and sports fans across the region will be praying for clear skies this weekend, none more so than members of the Wangaratta Lawn Tennis Club.
Players at the Merriwa Park–based club were just one week into their aggregate season before the heavens opened, with rising flood levels forcing cancel to shut off access to the club.
