THE second last try out session for Wangaratta Rangers Softball Baseball Club's new softball side was yet another massive success, with women and girls aged eight and over turning up on Saturday to the Targoora Park complex for some skills training and socialising.

The third of four free sessions, running from 3–5pm every Saturday in October, is aiming to revive juniors and seniors softball in the area.

Despite fierce conditions and rainfall on a seemingly weekly basis, attendance has been good, and Saturday's post–session sausage sizzle was well received.

This coming Saturday, October 29, will be the final try–out session, from 3–5pm at Targoora Park – all women and girls aged eight and over are encouraged to come along and try softball out.
