WODONGA police impounded a Tesla on Federation Way near Rutherglen after it was detected travelling at an alleged speed of 171km/h in a 100km/h zone.
Police said officers intercepted the 28-year-old male driver from Port Melbourne around 2:55pm travelling north.
It was detected at 171km/h and impounded at a cost of $1225.
