A DELUGE of rain in early December has injected confidence back into the cattle market with auction prices at Wangaratta last week following trends witnessed in the open market across Victoria over the previous two weeks.
Some 800 head were yarded at Wangaratta Livestock Exchange's final sale for the year last Thursday and Angus feeder steers between 360-460kg sold at $3.60 to $4.10/kg.
