AFTER the intense heat the Alpine Shire had to endure last Saturday with temperatures in the mid 30s, the sudden and surprising rainfall and cooler temperatures on Sunday and into this week has been a blessing; although it might have thrown a dampener on any outdoor events planned, such as the Great Victorian Bike Ride.
