NSW driver allegedly detected at 160km/h, passenger with drugs

A NEW South Wales driver had their car impounded in the early hours of Sunday morning after police said they detected their car at 160km/h near Wangaratta.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said the vehicle was intercepted on the Hume Freeway after it was found to be speeding.

Upon further inspection, the spokesperson said the vehicle had two bald tyres and was impounded for 30 days.
