LOCAL women’s sports teams are hoped to be boosted with player numbers after new funding was announced by the state government on Thursday, 30 January to encourage and foster female sport participation.
More women and girls will be supported to join sports they love, with more money allocated for sporting clubs and organisations through the Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program.
