WANGARATTA police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Wangaratta man Owen.

The 79-year-old was last seen on Pinoak Drive about 8am on Friday, November 8.

Police and family have concerns for Owen’s welfare as he lives with dementia, and his disappearance is out of character.

Owen is described as being 172cm tall with a fair complexion and short greying red hair.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve black top and black pants.
