Police make ride to honour fallen officers

SHOW OF RESPECT: Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton met with brother and sister Legatees Josh and Sam Paoli, who rode to Canberra on behalf of their late father, retired Sergeant Marco Paoli.

SOME 25 active police members from the North East, as well as a number of local police veterans, joined a 420-strong convoy on an 830km motorcycle ride to honour their fallen colleagues at the weekend.

As part of the 14th Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance, the convoy of Victoria police servicemen and women travelled from the Victoria Police Memorial on St Kilda Road to the National Police Memorial ...
