WANGARATTA Crime Investigation Unit has taken carriage of the investigation into a fire at the rear of Parfitt Road Plaza on Tuesday, when flames threatened a nearby camp set up by individuals experiencing homelessness.
Sergeant Trevor Schultz of Wangaratta Police said police were following several lines of enquiry into the cause of the blaze, and said the matter was "possibly suspicious".
