RSPCA Victoria is encouraging Wangaratta pet owners to keep their pets safe during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Planned fireworks at 9pm and midnight as part of the Rural City of Wangaratta's community celebrations at the Wangaratta Showgrounds, coupled with loud music, would cause anxiety in animals, leading to escapes, potentially destructive behaviours, and unintentional injuries.
