FORMER Wangaratta resident Karrie Long has joined Safer Care Victoria as the state's new chief nurse and midwifery officer (CNMO).
Ms Long is a visionary nursing leader with more than 15 years' experience driving health delivery innovation to ensure safer and more effective patient care.
She said working at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) enabled her to develop unique knowledge and skillsets.
