Australian of the Year to speak about Sober in the Country

ANOTHER WAY: Shanna Whan, pictured with her dog Daveo, will talk about the Sober in the Country Foundation, for which she is the founder, at the free event.

FARMERS in the North East are invited to hear Shanna Whan speak at Melbourne University’s Dookie campus on Tuesday, 4 March from 9am to 10.30am.

Shanna is the rural woman, founder, CEO and face behind Sober in the Country and an Australian of the Year recipient.

She decided to “do what she could to be part of the change” after almost losing her own life to alcohol addiction in 2015.
