WANGARATTA Highway Patrol members on Friday detected a 27 year old man from Bright allegedly travelling at 178kph in a 100kph zone while driving his Skoda on the Great Alpine Road at Smoko.
As a result of the excessive speed the man’s licence was immediately suspend, his vehicle impounded, and he was arrested at the scene.
He will appear at the Myrtleford Magistrates Court on summons for conduct endangering life, speed dangerous and associated traffic offences.
