Flights of fancy over bursting effervescence bubbles

THE recently installed sculpture, ‘Bubbles in the Landscape’ at Oxley was publicised with plaudit claims, including - ‘a sense of arrival, joy and significance of place for visitors and locals’, ‘A punching impact on the landscape’ and surprisingly, for a static fixture, the ability to ‘provide a kinetic spiraling feeling for it to be almost floating in the environment’.
