NORA Evans is never happier than sitting in the backyard of her Wangaratta home having a cuppa and listening to the call of the currawongs in the gum trees.
The 92–year–old, who has her doctorate in microbiology and a prestigious academic career spanning years of lecturing and research, moved here six years ago after falling in love with this beautiful part of Victoria.
