Grey-headed Flying Fox warms to the rural city

THIS summer there has been a large increase in Grey-headed Flying Fox numbers and the apparent establishment of a large local colony.

They are Australia’s largest bat species and can be regularly seen flying around at dusk and dawn travelling to or from their roost and foraging areas.
