A SERIES of small grass and scrub fires which broke out at Winton Solar Farm on Monday afternoon saw a significant firefighting response by local volunteer brigades.
Emergency crews were first alerted to the blaze at Winton-Glenrowan Road around 12.20pm, with five CFA units from Benalla and Winton brigades in attendance.
