WANGARATTA North fire brigade is better prepared for the upcoming fire season after receiving the keys for their new ultra-heavy tanker.
The new tanker is one of 29 ultra-heavy tankers being delivered across the state, valued at $460,000 each.
The 24-tonne tanker has the capacity to carry 10,000 litres of water, which is more than some of the CFA’s water bombing fleet.
