A MOTORIST has been lucky to walk away alive after his vehicle careened down an embankment and came to rest on its roof in hilly terrain near Whitfield sometime in the last week.
Emergency crews were called to Mansfield-Whitfield Road on Tuesday morning, after a passer-by identified a grey Subaru sedan had left the road near a hairpin bend in the vicinity of the Whitfield Lookout.
