Appin Park celebrates 40 years and still going strong

THE Appin Park Primary School community this week celebrated their big birthday in retro–style, marking 40 years since the school opened on November 23, 1982.

When then Minister for Education and Deputy Premier, Robert Fordham opened the new school, the movie ET was big at the box office, Olivia Newton–John was top of the charts with 'Physical', and leg–warmers were all the rage.
