NORTHEAST Health Wangaratta is bolstering its COVID19 Screening Clinic capacity today, opening the Wangaratta Showgrounds Screening Clinic from 10am to 4.30pm.
The Vincent Road Screening Clinic will not operate after 10am today.
The changes follow notification yesterday of a new COVID case in Wangaratta, and confirmation of a new Tier 1 exposure site.
Country Buddies Wangaratta Childcare and Kindergarten in Mason Street advised families via Facebook yesterday that it had it had been notified by the Albury/Wodonga contract tracing team that it was a Tier 1 site.
The date of exposure is on Wednesday, September 29, from 6.30am–5.00pm.
The details were added to the Department of Health website this morning.
The department is advising anyone who was at the business during the date and time of exposure to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days.
The childcare and kindergarten said it was closing "effective immediately until further notice".
"At this stage we will be closed Monday and Tuesday possibly longer due to staffing," the post said.

NHW posted on its Facebook page this morning that it is working with the Local Public Health Unit and will share any details on exposure sites as they are published by the Department of Health.

NHW urged any member of the public to please get tested if you have COVID–19 symptoms, or if you have been instructed by the Department of Health to get tested.
