AN extra $310,000 will be spent on upgrade works to the flood levees at Parfitt and Wilson roads and Merriwa Park due to minor leaking in the levees occurring during a recent rain event.
The locations where the leaking occurred were generally where trees had been saved and incorporated into the levee but now are known to have roots under the levee structure, causing leaks.
