DAWN and morning services in Wangaratta on Friday, and a number of other gatherings around the district will enable locals to commemorate ANZAC Day this week.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli, and the 81st anniversary of the D Day landings, which were the beginning of the end to World War 2, some 11 months later in Europe and in August, 1945 in the Pacific.
