THE Rural City of Wangaratta is offering free parking – with time limits – from this Friday until January 2 to encourage people to shop local for Christmas.
Mayor Dean Rees said the annual tradition of free parking over Christmas is one step council can take to encourage residents to shop locally and support local businesses.
