THE King Valley wine region is one of the many tourist destinations set to benefit from the $465 million Victorian Tourism Recovery Package announced by the State Government this week.

The package, which Premier Daniel Andrews described as the biggest regional tourism announcement in the history of the state, is designed to help the sector recover after a year of bushfires and the impact of COVID-19 restrictions, which brought visitation to a complete halt.

It includes $4.3 million towards the continued growth of the Prosecco Road wine trail from Milawa to Cheshunt South, including comprehensive signage, large scale outdoor artworks and a contribution to an accommodation development at Dal Zotto Wines.
