Rail consults still going

Track authority to engage with community more at end of month

AUSTRALIA’S track authority will hold community consultation sessions this month to discuss changes to accommodate the Tottenham to Albury Inland Rail near the Wangaratta and Glenrowan train stations.

The projects are at the reference design stage including investigations and field studies along with consults with communities and stakeholders to ascertain the preferred design for the works ahead.

To cater for the Inland Rail’s double stack trains certain bridges need to be removed or altered to give the trains clearance.
