Council calls for co-operation at rural city bike jump sites

YOUNG people have been encouraged to stick to the rules at local bike jump sites, as the Rural City of Wangaratta commits to completing promised works.

Bike jumps have been built in a number of Wangaratta locations, and in some rural townships, over the past year, in the wake of a meeting between council and young people last July which was sparked by council’s removal of unauthorised youth-made tracks.

Council committed at that meeting to working with young people to establish safe and appropriate locations for the jumps.
