Local small businesses boosted by state cash

THREE Wangaratta businesses are among more than 130 small-scale and craft producers across the state who have received a funding boost to help grow their businesses and generate jobs thanks to State Government grants.

Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods, Carboor Farms and King River Brewing have all shared in the $2 million to help them scale up, expand operations and increase production.

Donovan Jacka from Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods said the grant they received for $25,000 will fund three major projects.
