A WANGARATTA company has secured a contract to help fight the COVID-19 virus in Egypt.

Ozmist in Rowan Street is sending 10 locally designed mist cannons to be used by the Egyptian army to sanitise large areas, similar to those seen in other countries to spray streets and buildings.

Ozmist director Dean McDonald said he was as surprised as anyone when he was first contacted about the mist cannons.
