IN the spirit of community, a local business has donated $1000 to keep popular radio station OAK FM afloat for a while longer.

Station president Neil Barassi said the volunteer-run organisation has lost 90 per cent of its income due to local sporting events being cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“OAK FM has been broadcasting local sport for over 25 years and no sport means no sponsorship,” he said.
