WANGARATTA’S CWA evening branch returned this month for its first meeting since the introduction of COVID-19 restrictions.

“There were seven of us there, and we sat around in the hall, and it was quite exciting to be back,” evening branch president Marlene Park said.

Using funds received through recent grants from the Rural City of Wangaratta and the Federal Government as well as community donations, the CWA’s evening and day branches have continued their renovation efforts on the Templeton Street hall, with the main room painted, the stage removed, the floor re-sanded, and external doors soon to be replaced.
