PLACES like Wangaratta might get “a different set of rules” on COVID-19 restrictions compared to city and metro areas but it won’t happen until after school holidays.

Premier Daniel Andrews has flagged the change, providing the level of cases remains low to non-existent in regional areas during the upcoming holiday period.

Wangaratta has recorded two positive cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began but the last case was on April 10, following the first infection on March 30.
