Changes welcome but safety still a priority

LOCAL parents have had mixed reactions to Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ decision to slowly bring school back to normal in the state, from later this month.

Tarrawingee mum of two, Charlotte Byrne, said initially remote learning was difficult but the family has managed to find a routine.

“I have two school-aged children at home, year seven and year two; I am currently being supported by my employer to work from home part-time and my partner works in an essential service and continues to go to work on a full-time (rotating shifts) basis,” she said.
