RURAL City of Wangaratta mayor Dean Rees is supporting The Nationals’ call on the State Government to establish a $200 million Regional Tourism Fund to bring back tourism in the North East.

Cr Rees met with Nationals leader Peter Walsh and Wangaratta-based state MP Tim McCurdy (MLA, Ovens Valley) on Wednesday in Wangaratta, urging the Andrews Government to back the fund as COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease.
