Cricket boss happy to work with football if codes clash

THE possibility of a clash of cricket and football seasons is likely if the COVID-19 pandemic is to mellow out by winter.

The O&M has flagged the possibility of running this year’s season deep into spring if need be which would cause a clash of cricket and football grounds.

Wangaratta and District Cricket Association president Michael Hurley believes if this is the case both codes need to go to the table with an open mind.
