Families hit by funeral limitations

RESTRICTIONS which have been put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19 are making life difficult for those mourning the loss of their loved ones.

Limits on public gatherings also apply to funerals, which are currently restricted to no more than 10 people, while the one person per four square metre rule and social distancing must also be observed.

Glenn Bouchier from Mason Park Funerals said it has been the most difficult time for him in his 20 years in funeral service, and 13 years in Wangaratta.
