Devils to be guided by AWFA following ban

WANGARATTA City president Travis Whiley says the club will just sit and wait for guidance from the Albury/Wodonga Football Association after the season was plunged into uncertainty earlier this week.

The AWFA was initially set to adopt protective measures announced by Football Federation Australia on Monday before the governing body re-assessed their decision and suspended all sanctioned grassroots soccer matches and trainings until April 14.

“We’re governed by our state and national body and we’ll follow the guidelines for safety of our members,” AWFA president Mark Leman said.
