CONSULT US: Wangaratta CFA volunteer Garry Nash wants the State Government to listen to and act on concerns of members.

WANGARATTA CFA deputy group officer Garry Nash has called upon State Government authorities to hear the voices of volunteers in response to a letter sent to state politicians.

The six-page letter, which was sent by Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria chief Adam Barnett, raised multiple concerns about the future of volunteer brigades.

The document reveals a variety of complex issues facing the CFA ranging from volunteer levels, an aging fleet of vehicles, insufficient funding and training and a lack of support for bullying and harassment.
