Kelly Tigers set special meeting to discuss immediate future of the club

THE dramatic collapse of the Glenrowan Football Netball Club could reach its climax later this month with the Kelly Tigers on the verge of closing its doors for good due to a lack of volunteer support.

The club has called an extraordinary annual general meeting for February 26 with a decision to be made on whether it is possible to revive the Kelly Tigers, who have already made the call to sit out both football and netball for 2020.

That decision to go into recess was made in early October but the Kelly Tigers’ spirits remained high with a committee formed at the annual general meeting determined to get the club back up and running in 2021.
