With delay on splash park works, swim for free at pools to beat summer heat next week

FREE swimming at Wangaratta’s pools next week will help families escape the pre-Christmas heat.

With improvements to the Mitchell Avenue Splash Park not yet complete and hot weather predicted, the Rural City of Wangaratta is ensuring the community has a free place to cool down.

Council and the YMCA have agreed to open the Olympic pool in Swan Street for free from Monday to Friday next week and hours will be from 4pm to 8.30pm.
