LEDGER Racing is in for a big day tomorrow at the Wangaratta twilight races, with the local stable having a substantial seven horses running throughout the day.
Four year old gelding Mankell is Ledger Racing’s most experienced horse having had 10 starts and will be seen as a chance, however, Chris Ledger thinks young three year old gelding Devil’s Reward will be in a for a chance.
“Devil’s Reward was very unlucky in his first and only start,” Ledger said.
“He got stuck behind the leader and couldn’t get back after that, he’s an up and coming horse.
“Mankell was unlucky as well in his last race; he has shown his ability throughout his 10 starts though.
“Mankell’s field looks to be an even, strong field so it will be interesting to see how he goes.”
