TIME TO SAVOUR THE SWEET LIFE King Valley and its iconic tobacco sheds, such as those found at Pizzini Wines, will play host to the region’s biggest wine and food festival this weekend. THOUSANDS of visitors will be winding their way through the King Valley this weekend when the region plays host to the annual La Dolce Vita Festival.

Long considered the Australian home of Italian wine styles, the region’s reputation continues to grow thanks largely to the concerted efforts of local winemakers, many now multigenerational, and a population who simply can’t get enough of Prosecco.

Wines of the King Valley executive Alison Lloyd said the festival attracts up to 5000 visitors to the region each year and it’s not just the wineries who reap the benefits.
