St Bernard’s students find their niche at next level

ST Bernard’s Primary School students performed admirably at the School Sports Victoria state championships on October 24 at Lakeside Stadium, Melbourne.

Ten students and their families travelled down to Melbourne for a long day of competition.

Charlie Kerwin (high jump) finished 11th in the state with a jump of 1.48 metres, Georgia Lewis was 13th for her triple jump effort of 7.58 metres, Jaxson Coleman was seventh with an impressive 800 metre sprint time of two minutes, 40 seconds, while star sprinter Callum Bott finished third in the 100m sprint with a 13.12 second time, and second in the 200m final with a 26.90 second time.
