New Cathedral principal acclimatises to district

INCOMING Cathedral College principal Nick Jones likes the idea of Wangaratta’s changeable seasons, after living in the warm Western Australian climate.

And the local district has offered him a taste of almost everything its weather has to offer while he has been visiting over the past week to familiarise himself with his new home and school.

Apart from the weather, Mr Jones said he had enjoyed discovering a “friendly and vibrant community” in Wangaratta, during his visit from Perth with wife Jodie and children Madeline (8) and Luke (7).

“The family arrived last Thursday, and we spent the weekend getting to know the city and the region,” he said.
