Brigades unite for open day to protect properties

FOUR Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigades will offer local residents an interactive insight into protecting their property ahead of the upcoming fire season during a CFA joint open day at Carraragarmungee Primary School on Saturday, November 9.

Brigades from North Wangaratta, Eldorado, Everton and Tarrawingee have invited residents to learn how to effectively protect their properties from fire ahead of this year’s fire season.

Local CFA members will offer advice on a range of topics, which will include fire safety plans, clearing around dwellings, sheds and grazing paddocks, and the reality of staying to defend your property in the event of a fire threat.
