A FUNDRAISER in Everton on Friday will help with the development of a gathering space aimed at promoting community resilience and restoring a sense of pride following damage to the township’s hall in the December floods.

Local comedian Judi Walker, a former Everton resident, will perform her Snapping Crocs and Toilet Blocks show at the Everton Hall on Friday from 7.30pm, in what will be something of a homecoming.

Funds raised from the evening will be used to construct a covered barbecue area with picnic seating adjacent to the hall, and connected by a pathway.

Tickets to the show are $25 each, and are available from the Everton General Store, by phoning 0419 219 699, emailing [email protected], or online through the About Everton Facebook page or www.eventbrite.com.au (search for Snapping Crocs), or at the door if not sold out prior.
