• Bright defence ready for huge grand final task

    CONTAINING a forward line that has averaged 153 points per match throughout the home and away season and then kicked another 19 goals in their only final so far would loom as a daunting task for anyone.

    But that’s the task that awaits Bright’s backline as they try to reduce the output of Milawa’s potent forward line in Saturday’s Ovens and King grand final.

    The fact star Demon Cleve Hughes, who has kicked 80 goals this year, is also back in the side makes that task ever tougher, however, Bright assistant coach and key defender Dylan Bursill believes the Mountain Men are up to the task.
