• Bulldogs survive Roos in tight contest

    TARRAWINGEE has won through to the 2019 Ovens and King preliminary final after downing King Valley by 18 points in a tight first semi-final on Sunday at Milawa.

    The Bulldogs started the match on fire, but play was halted before either side could get a score on the board with Tarrawingee’s running defender Jack Amery taken away in an ambulance following a heavy tackle.

    After the interrupted started to the match, the Bulldogs were the quicker of the two sides to settle into their game style; continuing to attack the middle of the ground, releasing the ball to their runners and kicking the ball to the leading forwards’ advantage.
